Plain language, because that is how we work: we collect the minimum needed to respond to you and improve the site, we never sell personal data, and analytics runs only if you say yes.
Who we are
kraftbyte is the trading name of Kraftbyte Software Private Limited, 406, Garden Residency Road, Bommasandra Industrial Area, Bengaluru 560099, Karnataka, India. This site, kraftbyte.com, is our marketing site, and this policy covers it alone. Our products (brahmalabs.io, cognistream.io, humanauth.ai, munchwise.app) are separate services with their own privacy policies on their own sites. What we collect, and why
- Enquiry form (Tally): name, work email, company, role, and what you tell us about your processes, plus the page or workflow you enquired from. Used to prepare your AI readiness report and respond to you.
- Booking (Cal.com): name, email and the slot you pick, used to hold the call you requested.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4, only after you accept the cookie banner): pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. Used to learn which pages help. If you decline, no analytics runs and no Google cookies are set.
- Hosting logs (Vercel): standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) kept briefly for security and operations.
- Email: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence to handle your request.
What we do not do
- No selling or renting of personal data.
- No advertising trackers or retargeting pixels.
- No profiling beyond the aggregate analytics described above.
Processors we rely on
Tally (forms), Cal.com (scheduling), Google (analytics, email via Google Workspace) and Vercel (hosting) process data on our behalf under their own terms and safeguards. Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the EU and the United States; transfers rely on the safeguards those providers maintain.
Cookies and local storage
- kb-consent (localStorage): remembers your cookie choice. Set only when you choose.
- _ga, _ga_* (cookies): Google Analytics, set only after you accept. Expire after up to 2 years.
- The Tally and Cal.com forms load inside frames when you open them and may set their own functional cookies.
Retention
Enquiries and correspondence are kept while we are talking and for a reasonable period after, then deleted on request or when no longer needed. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings (14 months). Hosting logs rotate on Vercel's standard schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you are, email connect@kraftbyte.com to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, or ask what we hold about you; we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK, GDPR rights apply, including complaint to your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, CCPA rights apply; note we do not sell personal information. Indian residents have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
The site is for business audiences and not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the site after changes means the updated policy applies.
